Laser marking is sometimes referred to as laser etching, unlike conventional etching, laser etching needs no masks or chemicals, Laser etching gives a better quality finish and there is never any bleed out, also the marking is more permanent. Laser marking can be used for most of the jobs currently being carried out by conventional industrial engravers. Customers also benefit from our many years of laser experience. The L Squared directors alone have been working with lasers for nearly 50 years and understand the process inside out. This superior knowledge gives us a huge advantage in the purchasing, maintenance and operation of our lasers, we in turn can then pass this knowledge and expertise on to our customers via the work we carryout. A laser is simply a very intense beam of light which can be used to either remove or change the colour of a material. It can be used for many thousands of applications from computer keyboards to one off gifts. With advanced software we can laser engrave practically anything from Bar Codes & 2D codes to photographs and company logos. With our lasers we are able to place text and logos on all manner of items and often in difficult to reach locations (in comparison to conventional engraving methods). We offer a ‘trade only’ laser engraving service to the promotional, engineering and medical industries, this is where we receive plain stock, engrave it to specification and then send it on to the end user. Because the laser is computer controlled we can easily engrave part numbers and machine readable codes for part tracking, the laser creates a high quality and permanent mark that will enhance any product.Laser Marking Services
